Cable modems are most definitely worth it. My network card decided to burn
itself out after only 3 months use, but that was due to a faulty card. For
the week I was using dial up access, I decided that cable modem was
definitely the way to go. I missed my cable modem incredibly. :( You don't
completely appreciate the speed of it, until you lose it for a while. The
added bonus is that Jason and I also have both our computers networked to
each other as well now. This is, of course, thanks to our fearless leader
