Any one read the new Mopar Performance News? There is supposed to be a new
Pro-Stock truck division in NHRA very soon. Dodge is building two Dakota's
for the strip. They said that they will not run 500 cubic inch big blocks,
instead they will run v8's limited to 360 cubes to better keep in line with
the engines that truck buyers have in their production vehicles. The Dak's
are said to have race prepared Magnum engines that should propel them to
speeds of about 7.80 in the 1/4 mile. Can't wait to see them in action!
