<snip> so I started it up and
>the Check Engine light comes on. My wife goes "Couldn't
>leave it alone could you"

Heh heh....sounds like *my* wife. She walked outside when I was doin'
mine. There's aluminum dust flyin' all over the place and I stop and look
up at her. "I sure hope you know what your're doin' " she says with a
grin. She understands this is a sickness ya see. 8^)

<snip> After I dropped her
>off I disconnected the computer for 5 minutes and it reset
>the check engine light.

Hmmmmm.......I never got a Check Engine Light. Looks like I didn't get
into it enuf. Where's that damn dremel tool......

What most likely happened is that the computer freaked out temporarily due
to the sudden increase in incoming airflow which would cause a
substantially different reading at the MAP sensor. Being that the computer
uses adaptive memory it had gotten used to a certain range of readings.
Along you come and jam a ton of extra air in there and the computer
"chokes". 8^) You should be set now tho.

Another home throttle body port/polish a success!!
