I just joined the list today.
I just ordered my 97 last week. I can't wait for this
sucker to come in, as my current car is pushing 210k mi
and is about ready to die....
There is still a period of time which I can make changes,
so now I'm starting to get 'OSA'.
Here's what I ordered. Should I drop any of these?
Should I add? I don't want to push the $$ envelope
any more than I have.
+ V8
+ 4x4 extended cab
+ SLT+ (should I have gotten sport+?)
+ 5 spd
+ 3.55 axles (should I get 3.21?) I won't be doing
serious off road.
+ max payload (hey, only $13)
+ P235/75R15 tires (are the 31x10.5 tires bigger,
better, worth it?)
+ No sure grip
+ pwr overhead (compass, lights, etc)
+ floor mats (duh)
+ premium stereo (cd/cass). Should I go
aftermarket?
+ body side molding
+ 6x9 mirrors (are these too big and gawky?)
+ fog lights
Truck will be mostly pleasure use (no towing, yet).
I'm sure this type of stuff has been bantered about
before, but since I'm a newbie...
Also, are those with 97's happy with the truck? I
searched the web before I ordered. I didn't find too
many disparaging (sp?) words. I think I made the right
choice.
